Gaza Early Recovery and Reconstruction Needs Assessment- “One Year After” Report

The objective of the assignment is to prepare a report that captures and analyzes updated information on early recovery and reconstruction needs one year after the end of the war on Gaza. The report covered all sectors and comprised quantitative data and qualitative analysis. The scope of work included:

• Review existing documentation, check whether information is updated, identify gaps and recommend actions.
• Each sector study comprised comprise i) a recapitulation of assessed damages and of support provided by local authorities, UN agencies, International and national NGOs and other partners to date; ii) a situation analysis, including an assessment of the current level of services – and their quality ­provided in the respective sectors and of the main obstacles and opportunities; and iii) an update of the needs, as well as an assessment of the capacity of the different sectors to cater for the needs of Gazans and of the requirements needed thereof.
