The project aims to provide water desalination facilities to up to 125 UNRWA school buildings in Gaza to meet the immediate, acute need of refugee children for safe drinking water.
Each school building would be equipped with a complete desalination system with a capacity of 1 cubic meter/hour. The desalination unit would be located at the roof of the school and would be embraced in a steel container. The desalination unit would be provided with a PV power system.
